After being thoroughly impressed with its performance and features, I've gone ahead and bought another two watches for family members. For anyone looking for an affordable smartwatch that doesn’t skimp on functionality or style, this is undoubtedly a top recommendation. It's a true gem.I am so impressed with this watch. My son and I both bought one. I have a Google Pixel phone and he has an iPhone. I know it works well with the iPhone, because he has had no complaints, but I don't have any more details than that regarding the iPhone connection. As for Android, my primary food tracking app is MyFitnessPal. That app is amazing and well worth using. The app for this watch is not one that will directly connect to it, but the workaround is so simple. Connect the VeryFit app to Google Fit and Google Fit will pass the data along to MyFitnessPal! The only hiccup I ran into was that one night MyFitnessPal did not pull the step count as fast as I wanted and there isn't a simple way to make it refresh the data. It might have happened on its own eventually, but I was impatient. Disconnecting from and reconnecting to Google Fit, refreshed the data right away. I've only "had" to do that once. Otherwise the connection is very stable.The battery life is excellent and it recharges quickly. I use the sleep tracking so I virtually always have it on. I plug it in when I shower and that is plenty to keep it charged.
I love that it is waterproof and I wear it during water aerobics with no problem.Seriously, for the price it is an amazing device.
If I have any complaint at all, it would be that the paperwork that comes with it, while descriptive enough to get you started, doesn't go into near enough detail about all the functions this thing can do. I use this watch all the time and I still don't know what all the options mean and looking up the answers is not as easy as I would like.I picked this particular smart watch because of the good reviews and low price and I don't regret it for a second. Originally I planned on getting a FitBit, but since I have rarely ever worn a watch I decided on starting with this cheaper option to get a feel for it with the idea of upgrading later. Turns out, I am totally satisfied with this one and really don't see the need to pay more for something else.I really enjoy my watch. The price was great and the quality is great too. the screen is a nice size. Set was easy. band is a nice soft rubber. I like that multiple face options that tells you steps, cal burned, heart rate, date, time, battery life. You can also personalize with your own photo. I got this watch to monitor my daily steps, distance, and calorie burn. I can track my daily workouts and it tells me how long my workout was, how many calories burned, heart rate and if I hit my goal which I set up in my settings. The only thing I do not like is that when I start my workout I cannot utilize the timer option at the same time. I like to set a timer for each exercise and to do so, I have to stop recording my workout. So I just use the stop watch on my phone. Other than that, this watch is basic for keeping track of daily movement.
I do not use the sleeping monitor option. Also, you cannot answer calls or reply to messages. However, you do receive calls and notifications only once you set up the watch and the app on your phone. For the price I really give this watch 4 stars.I bought two 41mm and one 44mm for myself, my daughter, and my husband. First off, the 44mm seems to have a different OS than the 41mm. It seems a little better/newer. We all three like them though. Are they super accurate? No, but they're also pretty inexpensive, so they're good enough for our use. I immediately had my husband replace my band. Just look for a 20mm watch band. Any will fit. It took my husband 2 minutes to pop it off and replace it. I have had ot for about a week and a tiny line has appeared on my screen, so I'm ordering a replacement, but honestly, it's barely noticeable, I am just still in the return window, so I figured I may as well. Highly recommend for the price. Oh, and DON'T enable the weather. It has a bug that they are apparently aware of, but it causes the app to continuously crash until you can catch the toggle on the phone screen and turn it off. It would be great to have, but not a deal breaker for us.
