Update; I put the solar panel into a clear ziptop bag and raised it off the ground. It has survived several downpours with no problems at all.Listen. Sometimes I’m the most educated person in the room. Sometimes I can’t find my phone while it’s in my hand. Figuring out these lights was definitely a lost phone situation. I set them out in my greenhouse to charge but the next afternoon they still wouldn’t turn on. I thought maybe it was just because it was cloudy. No big deal. The following day was not cloudy. It was sunny and warm. Still no lights. I held them in some shade. Nothing. I figured the next day I’d ask about a refund and be sad about my misfortune. Later that evening I needed something from outside and noticed something weird in the greenhouse. It was my lights! Turns out a little bit of shade isn’t enough, but full on night and they glow like a charm. They have a perfect warm charm and there is plenty of length to cover aforementioned greenhouse. Would definitely buy again as soon as I figure out where my darn phone went.So easy to install and they charged very quickly. They sparkle during the day when the sun catches them just right. The perfect warm glow at night. They stay on all night until early dawn. Initially I bought 2 sets . I loved them so much I bought another set. I’m anxious to see how many seasons they will last. Very pleased with them so far.

Wanted to make sure they worked and that I liked the colors. The size of the light ball was misleading. I was expecting a bit bigger but they are about the size of a very large concord grape. They are really cute though and I like them. They are just the right brightness and will look great for Christmas (bought the multi-colored ones). Only issue I have with this is the control under the side of the solar panel. It says to turn it on and the button on the back is black like the entire back, kind of hard to read the words b/c they are just raised black lettering and you cannot really tell when you press the on/off button if you have turned it off or on. It feels the same. Mode is easier of course you just watch the lights for about 30 seconds on some (fading, etc.) before it actually does it. But will wait and see if they do hold their charge during the winter and make it through our Alberta winters. So far being August they work very well.
