I am super happy with my purchase. My iPhone 14 Pro came with a 93% battery and lasts longer than my wildest expectations! I am starting use at 7:30am with frequent podcasts, music, phone calls, texting, and more throughout the day and going to bed at midnight with 39% of the battery life left! This is exactly what I hoped for. Buying through Amazon directly for this certified renewed phone in premium condition has allowed me to pay cash for an unlocked phone that is still a flagship performance phone, but at 70% the cost of a brand new one. The only defect I could find on the entire phone was the tiniest 1/8th of an inch long scratch along the bottom left quadrant of the phone screen. After applying a screen protector I can't even see this scratch anymore.I came from an iPhone SE3 which, after a year of use and 87% battery life remaining, couldn't even get me to 1pm before needing recharged. This iPhone 14 Pro is an order of magnitude better than the SE3 in every conceivable way!
It is worth mentioning, I have Verizon, and I was able to completely normally and easily transfer my old iPhone SE3 data and eSIM card info to this phone automatically without having to even log in to the Verizon website or visit the store. The phones did everything automatically even down to asking if I would like to reset to factory and delete the eSIM info off of my old SE3! How awesome is that? The contents inside were also individually wrapped (not shown in video). Inside was my phone, cord and plug-in along with a pamphlet with information about Amazon Renewed, benefits and my 1 year phone coverage with Amazon Renewed Guarantee. All-in-all it made me feel even better about my purchase.
The phone was in mint condition. No scratches, dings or anything that would signify wear by a previous owner. The color is a beautiful deep plum purple. It can definitely go both ways either female or male since the purple is so dark it’s almost black. It did come reset to factory mode (not shown in video) and ready for you to activate with phone carrier of choice. FYI - It doesn’t have a slot for a physical SIM card only e-SIM. So you don’t need to go in store to set this up you can do it online if you wanted to.The battery life is long and that is expected as Amazon makes certain it passes multi-point inspection, all previous data is removed, and battery health is 90%+.The accessories are not Apple but honestly I wasn’t bothered or expecting it to be. They work well without getting heated and I have a few Apple cords and plugs already.The phone functions well. The sound quality is crisp and the pictures are too. Amazon Renewed did not disappoint. I got the extra memory I needed and saved a couple hundred bucks. Very happy with my purchase.I bought the iPhone 14Pro. It is beautiful and didn’t have a scratch on it. It looked brand new. The packaging was very nice and the charging cable and adapter was included. I was very happy with it. However, immediately after turning on the phone, the screen went black and would not come back on, so I had to return it.
Amazon said they offered free returns. What they didn’t tell me was that in order for me to return it and get my $835.42 back I’d have to either stay home from work or have someone come to my house because I wasn’t permitted to take and drop the phone off at a UPS location. They had to send someone to pick it up from my house. So, I missed an entire day of work which cost me almost $400.00 and the UPS driver never showed up. I called UPD only to find out 1, that Amazon hadn’t notified them of the pickup and 2, the Return Authorization Slip that Amazon emailed me that was supposed to ensure the returned product was credited back to my credit card in case the mailing label had gotten damaged was invalid. So, apparently, if someone would have picked up the phone and damaged the mailing label I would not have had my money refunded.I called Amazon back to tell them what UPS told me. Amazon’s solution was to start the return process all over again. Meaning that I would have to miss another day of work in order to wait for UPS to pick up the phone. I told them that was absolutely unacceptable. The customer service rep was adamant that that was my only option and it wasn’t until I got angry and insisted they email me a return label, so I could drop it off at a UPS store that they finally agreed to do so.I printed off the label and repackaged the box with the new Return Authorization Slip (I hope it’s valid this time) and dropped it off at UPS.I HOPE my money is refunded without issue even though they told me it could take up to 40 DAYS to do so.
