I recently purchased this last week for the start of classes. I’m currently on semester 3 and realized that I NEED a desk, I cannot continue to do work on my bed because I am lazy lol. But this was such a great investment.
I wasn’t expecting it to be sturdy at all but it is. My younger brother and I put this together in about 2.5 hrs. It’s not too difficult to put together but the instructions could be a tad bit confusing at times. You would think since it’s only pictures it would be easy but nope. There were definitely times I sat confused because I couldn’t figure out which screw went into which hole lol. But overall pretty simple, sturdy, great desk for the price. I don't have any experience building furniture so I was really worried about assembly with this desk, reviews seemed really 50/50. It was actually very simple and I had a good time doing it. Its recommended for 2 people since you have to hold multiple pieces up at once but if you have something to lean it on its very possible to do it alone. It took me about 5hrs to complete but I took my time so it can probably be done in 2-3 like some reviews say. Its a good size, especially if you don't have a lot of space to spare. The only thing that wasn't great was the wood quality. It was easy to accidentally make little chips while screwing, luckily these aren't visible.I bought this desk as my old one was giving out and the price was good. I built it by myself with a bit of help on a few steps. It took me 4 hours max, including the clean up. I later removed the keyboard slot and support for more leg room and it's just as sturdy.I was scared to buy furniture from Amazon, however, this desk just blew it out of the park! It’s very stable, nothing shakes, it’s beautiful the white paint never chipped in my 4 years of having this desk, and I used it for makeup so it’s gotten dirty many times but when I clean, it’s like I got it new! I genuinely love this desk so much. I love the organizer since it utilizes vertical space. 10/10 would recommend.
