Less harsh chemicals made with fewer harsh chemicals, or safer chemicals than typical alternatives, helping reduce your use of and exposure to substances that may be more harmful to your health and the environment. Purchase the chair in December. Use it daily for work as well as in down time for pc gaming. This is the least comfortable computer chair I have used. I previously had one similar in appearance from Serta and it was great, tried this one out in a Staples and it felt good.
Ordered it, assembled it, it appeared to be assembled correctly and everything is working. I have a sore tailbone daily from this chair. Previously used a Serta seat and an AndaSeat that both were overall a better experience. Most seat pads dont work well with the chair as its large and they move. Overall the seat is disappointing and now the fake leather on the arms is cracking. The chair's only redeeming factot is its size, but I am struggling to find a way to make the seat less painful. I am a big dude and actively losing weight which will help, but this sold as being a chair that can support weight greater than myself and I would be more comfortable on a folding chair. I sit in my chair for several hours some days, and this was the only chair at an office supply store to be comfortable to sit at for long periods and to have a back high enough to avoid neck strain. My first of these broke after five or six years, and I decided to buy another one to replace it. The downsides were that the gas lift stopped being able to lift the chair at all after a few years; the fake leather started peeling from the cloth underlayer after a few years, continually leaving new small plastic shavings on the floor for several months; and the seat tilted to one side after five or six years, leading to back pain. Repairing the chair didn't work out well, so I bought a second one to replace it.
This chair has lasted me about 2 years now and tbh I'd buy this thing again no questions. it's had excellent durability mind you I'm a heavy guy 280 rn 350 at my heaviest. Nothing has flaked off or anything and even if it did I'd just slap a cover on it because. The real winner is the comfort I mean it's like sitting on a bed or a couch your not gonna melt to sleep or anything but no matter how long you sit in this thing your not going to get sore on the rump something you can't say for alot of chairs If I had to gripe about something I guess it's the head area it's kinda tilting back away from you so putting your head back to the chair means staring at the ceiling it's something I noticed right away but it just really doesn't matter especially if your working but I guess if you were gonna kick back watch some movies maybe it's a concern. Bought my first Hensley 6 years ago -- it's still going strong! Needed a second one for another home space -- this chair by Serta is the ONLY one that fits Big and Tall, truly! There might be one other brand, but it offered only a mesh back, not upholstered and plush like this model. I was so glad they're still making these! This chair has the TALLEST BACK of any executive chairs out there -- and the 400 lb. capacity means pure comfort. I can sit in this for hours with no problems. Easy to assemble, too, with a wide-handled wrench included (as opposed to a skinny, angled, hex wrench) and extra bolts (if you fumble and lose one). I'm 6'3" and 260 lbs, truly Big and Tall -- if you're in the same size neighborhood, you won't regret buying one of these.
