I love the desk Sturdy. Decently easy to put together, just time consuming. I like that I can choose how I want it to be set up! I use the “U” shape. I will say the lights are extremely easy to break. I broke mine while plugging them in so just be careful. I love it ! Took a little to assemble but just follow the directions and it will be fine. It has great stability and I love that you can change the way it sits.Assembly is not terrible if you are somewhat mechanical. A power screw driver is a must for assembly, but you could do it without it. Pay attention to the right / left of the legs of the desk. Instructions are not super clear on the swings so it’s easy to assemble the wrong way. Just think as you layout the pieces where you want the drawers and the tower shelf. We did not use the monitor shelf but everything worked out well. The space inside the “U” is plenty for a good size office chair. Purchased the grey one and it’s a great color. The fit and finish is not super tight but for the price it looks fine. Overall, very pleased with this desk.Overall this desk is amazing. Most desks you buy online are very cheaply made and have really bad quality. Not this desk.
The boards feel like actual wood instead of particle board, it had a completely different knock sound compared to particle board. The desk is pretty big and it even states that it's a big size. It's pretty easy to build by yourself so you don't need to have someone over to help. That being said, the screws used to hold everything together are cheap and the heads strip easily. If you can find the same size bolts and screws used, buy them from a hardware store because they'll be a higher quality than what was supplied. there's small discrepancies which is going to happen when ordering online. I received 2 poles that were bent at the bolt hole, but they were easy enough to bend back into place. Not every hole lines up correctly but that could be just the set I received. Overall, I'm quite happy with the desk. just makes sure you buy longer cables for your computer so your cable management looks good.
I ordered this desk for my home office. I am very impressed.
Pros:
Arrived on time in good shape with no damage or missing parts.
The instructions were easy to follow and the flow of the assembly made since Every piece was labeled and easy to identify.
Each different piece of hardware was in its own zip lock baggy and labeled.
Every piece of hardware had at least 1 extra. (i am sure i didn't miss any and I didn't take shortcuts to have stuff left over....lol.)
It is very easy to switch to a different configuration. This is one of the features that made me want this desk.
Now this thing is not perfect, but remember that it is a big desk for under 200.00.
Cons:
You will not be impressing clients with this thing in your office. You can tell it is a low end desk with just one look.
The box is very heavy and you will need help getting it inside.
The designers really need to relocate the built in power strip. Instead of having a permanent whole in the middle of one end of one the desktop pieces, maybe change it so that the end user can decide where to put it.
It took me about 4 hours to put together. That includes changing the configuration because of the power strip issue mentioned before. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good size desk for a home office. I would buy it again if i had the need.
