I guess I’m thinking pink and wanted a small desk table to match my pink office chair. This table caught my eye and it was much lower on Amazon than other furniture companies, I read the reviews and I’m glad to say that I’m a five star happy person too! The color was just as displayed, size is just right, I love how sturdy it is and easy to move, and that I can easily adjust the height to my comfort or even use it standing if necessary. I have a larger computer and It sits comfortably on the side dock. If there is anything I can think of is maybe a mouse support for when you tilt the keyboard tray up? But I’m very happy with this purchase.

The Leick Home 11261 Ironcraft Bookcase blends the familiar with something fresh and new with rich wood tones over matte black steel bases. The knocker style drawer pull allows for hand space when needed while remaining low profile when not in use. Easy to assemble with pre-assembled drawer. Designed and manufactured by Leick Home, the trusted source for quality home furnishings for every taste and budget.The Leick Foyer Bookcase (30") arrived a day earlier than scheduled. The five pieces of the unit were extremely well-packed and there was no damage to the structure or finish. The table is made of solid wood & metal and is very sturdy. If your home is like mine the assembly of put-it-together-yourself furniture can be an all-day affair accompanied by much moaning and wailing and gnashing of teeth. However, this table went together quite easily. The five pieces consist of the table top/drawer unit, two metal sides and two wooden shelves. A mere twelve screws securely attach all the pieces together. The bottom shelf is fixed while the middle shelf can be installed at your choice of three positions. Installed in the center there is 8.5" of space from the bottom shelf to the underside of the middle shelf and another 8.5" from the top of the middle shelf to the bottom of the drawer.
The other two positions will raise or lower the center shelf by approximately 2". You may change the position easily at any time by lifting off the shelf and re-positioning the four headless screws. The table's four legs have screw-type leveling feet built in.I found this unit by searching "mission style table" and while the clean lines do indeed suggest the mission/shaker/craftsman style I would be more inclined to call it "traditional." It would certainly complement many types of decor. What you see in the product photos is precisely what you get. Several reviews of Leick products mentioned a strong smell filling the room upon opening the box. I noticed no such smell though if I brought a wooden piece up right under my nose -- like a child sniffing a bottle of vanilla extract -- there was a slight chemical smell which may have been from stain. Since I could imagine no likely scenario which would bring my nose that close to the table again I proceeded with assembly. I may have been lucky or the smell could be more pronounced on other Leick products. Whatever the case may be, it is something to keep in mind since other reviewers have had some rather extreme reactions.Condensed version for the busy Amazon shopper: I would buy this product again and would definitely look for other Leick items should I need additional pieces of furniture at this price point in the future. I am thrilled with this desk. First, it arrived only 3 days after ordering, a full 10 days earlier than indicated - thank you OJ Commerce. When the FedEx Ground guy left it on my porch I was worried because the box exterior was pretty beat up. But upon opening it was extremely well packaged in styrofoam, plastic, foam and cardboard. No dents, scratches or imperfections on any part of the desk, just perfect.
I will be vacuuming up bits of styrofoam for a while (it gets everywhere) but it's worth it since the product was not damaged at all. Unfortunately the bag of hardware had broken open so the 24 washers and 12 bolts were scattered all over the box interior; it was a scavenger hunt finding them all but miraculously they were all there. As other reviewers have indicated, this is easy to assemble since the drawer assembly is already attached to the tabletop. Just follow the simple 6 steps to attach the 2 leg assemblies and 2 crossbars and you are done. This desk is really well made for the price. I have to hand it to Leick, it is well designed with the ability to run my wires through the back so I can charge my phone inside the drawer. This is a smaller desk, perfect for my small office and exactly what I need. The finish on the wood and metal bars is excellent. I have already ordered the matching Leick console to go with my desk. This is the third piece of Leick furniture we have bought. They have all been beautiful and easy assemble. The instructions are easy to read and follow. The packaging is outstanding. I have been in the building material business for over 45 years, so I have experience in construction and fine furniture. My wife and I are extremely happy with this piece and the other two we have. I love this desk! The desk arrived in perfect condition, and was very easy to put together. Assembly can be done by one person for the most part, with very minimal assistance from another person needed to attach the lower shelf and then turn the desk over into the upright position after it is put together. The wood is beautiful and solid. It is as advertised. I am 5'3" and the desk fits me perfectly.
I could see though that it may not be the right selection for a bigger/taller person as there is not much leg room even for me!!! The only other thing that I noticed is that when the drawer face is is opened downward to use the space for a computer keyboard, it extends out from the desk the size of the drawer face with no support. While the metal hinges do look quite solid, I was concerned that over time, the drawer face could break because of pressure being put on it... so for this reason, I decided to use the drawer as a drawer and put my keyboard and mouse on top of the desk. If using the space for a keyboard, it will fit the keyboard only and the mouse would still need to go on top of the desk because there is not enough room for a mouse pad next to it.. On the desktop, there is plenty of room for my large monitor, two speakers, a wireless phone with a base, the keyboard and mouse pad plus room to spare! I am very pleased with this purchase and recommend it.
